Suicide Squad

This project was designed and developed in collaboration with Nuclius and IMAX to support the release of the Suicide Squad. As the lead developer on this project, I built a React/Redux app and serverless backend that is able to handle a large scale of users, in support of the release of the film.

The app invites users to choose their own squad of five supervillains and compete against their peers to get the highest score. Each squad of characters is assigned a score, which is saved in DynamoDB to determine player rankings. As users select their squad and check their score, social link preview images are generated based on their selection, so that they can share their score in a dynamic and engaging way.
